I’ve been building a broad business expertise about dozens of industries all my career: first, during my Wall Street years through numerous securities analysis and investment banking projects — and since 1976 as a CEO and CFO advisor/consultant/coach to hundreds of companies.

This expertise has given me the essential skill that all executive authors need to tap into (and one that few other publishing experts have) — I know how to make a book leverage just about any business as well as how to make a given business best leverage a book. In addition, I know the changes and refinements they each require in order to create superlative results from their synergy. This is crucially important because 95% of the potential of every executive’s book comes from that synergy — and if it’s not there or not very strong, an executive author’s results could be nonexistent.

In addition to understanding the core business drivers of many industries, during my years as a C-level advisor/consultant, I’ve helped the top executives at hundreds of companies (large and small):
